An absolutely gorgeous painting of this family of loons, Richard! Love the detail and the beautiful scenic surroundings! I enjoyed looking up and reading about alkyd paints, as I have never heard of them before, so found the info quite interesting. Thanks for sharing this beauty and the information I gleaned from alkyd paints, even makes this more of a masterpiece, as it seems it is quite tricky to work with, and must use proper tools, but the results are splendid!
